Very professional. It all seemed so easy and in control and yet great speed.

Co-driver note reading seemed later than most which for me was about right. I could follow it well, usually the instruction is too far ahead for me to remember.

It still amazes me how close some people stand and even crouch down to take photos - they wouldn't stand a chance if anything went wrong.

Quite right about the Spectators standing at the edge, Rob - they think you're in control as you approach them, but that's not necessarily the case !

I had occasion, whilst marshaling on the Hempstead stage in the Rally of Kent, to point out to one Guy, that I wasn't being awkward about wanting him to move from his chosen position, but the skid marks that he was standing on (and extended several metres past him) had been made about 3 cars before he decided to stand there.................Escort Mk3 converted to RWD IIRC
