Hello from the midlands, got my 240Z this weekend

Hi guys
I picked up my silver 240z this weekend, i traded my red 120y for it.
I had followed its progress with interest on ebay and some of the discussion over it on here.
It had an engine rebuild with some advice from Spike Anderson, i can find no evidence of any more involvement than that.
Its very solid with just a couple of rust spots starting to come through on the bonnet and wings. The paint work is silver and a bit dull, but i think i will get it resprayed and have the rust attended to at the same time.
Anyway he accepted my offer and its now mine, i will post up pictures in the relevant section when i get the chance.

The Heritage Centre AGM meet is right next door to where i work, so there is every chance i could come along.

Not been a member long enough to Welcome people, but agree it looked good on Ebay.

Saw a pristine looking White 240 maybe 260 pass me in opposite direction on Gunthorpe Bridge (Notts) today - it was spotless and the road was damp so I presume being clean and white - it was local. Any takers.. if so - always available for a pint at the Unicorn in Gunthorpe.

I do spannering in the prototype powertrain ops workshop, i would love to help you out with a 2013 RR but im not that high up the tree, sorry, awesome vehicle though, in a very different way to my awesome Z though.
