Battery lead size

Anyone know the size or amperage?

I want to get some new leads made up.

Well the Alternator is good for 37.5 amps (LT150-10) or 45 amps (LT160-23) but on a cold day you could be pulling 400A instantaneous. If you want to follow AWG spec you should be using 0000 but thats half and inch think. You could probably get away with 4 AWG if you use a high quality multistrand and you don't have to crank your car excessively, drop to 2 AWG if you want to be super cautious.
