That'll be those poor quality vents on a Kaminari wing.

got rid of mine when i discovered they used the same mould for both sides-ie one side is narrower at the front, while the other is narrower at the rear, tch tch tch.

looking good m8-they didnt laquer it then?:D

Steve, they wont be happy mate, till you tell em it goes like a morris minor, has been valued for insurance purposes at 750 quid, and you painted it yourself with some aerosols from Halfords, only then will some people sleep easy,

I also want to know if Steve has cleaned the inside out as the last time I sat in his car, it was doing a really good impression of a large waste paper bin !

13-10-2005, 10:47 PM
Close but no Cigar Mike, and the car is still around...

Mind you it was some time ago

Bit more of a clue here

zedhead260
14-10-2005, 12:05 AM
Well in the second picture it looks like my car (XUL 27T)....can't quite make out the plate but it looks so.

The car in the first picture is not XUL - no sunroof. My vote is also Adam Browns.

Bizzare coincedence here - I have the stowage bin lids from Adams car after it was broken for spares and they now sit on XUL.

(who said anal ?? )

Same car in both pics

And getting very warm

So here it is

zedhead260
14-10-2005, 07:13 AM
Freaky !!! I thought Len had put the new roof skin on before it was painted red.

I stand corrected :)

260ZG
14-10-2005, 11:36 AM
Ah yes but this was a long time ago..........

IIRC the car had been re-sprayed in a Ford Red at the time (1987) and the new roof went in before it was resprayed again in the current colour.

I think his son Andrew did both the re-sprays (and the one on his 240Z)

Even more freaky.....

The bronze 260 next to it is mine and the car in my Avatar.

zedhead260
14-10-2005, 01:03 PM
I never realised it had been sprayed red before hand (I'm going to have to speak to Len). However it always struck me as odd that in some photo's it looked more red than others.............never noticed the roof though. I always put it down to the fact that the car looked a different shade depending on the amount of sunlight, and also the factor of film quality.

FYI the current colour is no longer the colour you think it is...............it's changed to an alltogether different shade of red.

260ZG
14-10-2005, 02:31 PM
Well Len should be able to give you chapter and verse, providing his memory is better than mine that is.:)

Must have a rake round for other pics -I think there is one somewhere of it (in a club mag?) before Len's ownership.
