I have driven a 240 with a good Jenvey Throttle boddy set up. On the road and the track it was superb.
The pick up from low revs is very clean and, throttle response is excellent. Another big advantage is the much improoved fuel consumption. We all know how jucy a big set of webbers can be when your enjoying the car. Dave Walker at Emerald set this car up on his own Ecu, so you already have someone who has a great reputation with experience of this set up. If you can afford it then go for it! |

Hmm 48's on a road car sounds familiar... way over carb'd unless you have something very special.
Theres probably only a handful of engines in the UK that require them. You mention a hairy cam.......details???? If you want to understand TB's give me a call, ive been running them for nearly 8 years on a setup I put together my self rather than pay someone to do it for me. As for carbs producing the same power as TB's.....at the top yes but throughout the mid range (where we all drive 99% of the time) TB's are a quantum leap ahead of carbs......been there done that broke the record.
