Volts gauge problem

Hi all,

Dont think my volts gauge has ever been working, so had an hour to spare today and took it out, connected the gauge directly to the battery and getting 12v so the gauge is fine.

I checked the 3 pin connector and im not getting any reading, so im guessing there's a break in the wire somewhere.

Does anyone know where the wires come from?

Cheers

Red with blue stripe is the 12V to the voltmeter - arrives via your black fusible link and the "dome light" 10A fuse in the fuse box (White with red stripe from fusible link to fuse box). Black to ground as usual.
Black fusible link is fed from fat white at starter motor terminal.
