Ok then Don,
can you list for me what you think makes this country Great because from where im sitting it seems that the rest of Europe ie France ,Spain, Germany etc all have a better standard of living the us Brits.

BTW are you still coming to the summer BBQ on sunday, and i was down your neck of the woods today (Baltic road) Tonbridge
 
Neil, I cant do the summer barby mate, Ive been roped into cooking on a griddle for 8 hours at the Darling Buds Classic Car Show, here in glorious Kent, the over populated Garden of England. Hope yours goes really well.
Dont know Baltic Road, but not far from me, you should ave said, you could have called in for a cup of fine English tea, and English Scones with Cream, my dear chap.
Tally ho, and whatever you do, keep paying your taxes to Gordon, and if you go abroad, keep your money in your bin, dont want to fuel some foreign economy.

if you dont mind i could list a few!

you cant wash your car at home in germany now.
most ppl have to rent homes in germany as owning a house is kin expensive.
you thought our pensions were in a mess........you should see theirs.
oh they make horrid plastic sausages.

mmmm France.....
still havn't got the grasp that sitting on a toilet is dryer that tying to squat over a hole in the floor.
a much bigger imigration problem than we have got.
poor road surface ( due to shoddy workmanship...lol)
oh and they drive on the wrong side
not to mention garlic breath and fartie pants:D
