Z31 Performance Parts??????

No that I have my new Z31 turbo, im looking to do a few Performance inhancing mods to it, but Im finding it hard to find some???

Ive found that Spax do a 35mm lowering kit for it and K&N do a filter kit for it but thats about it??

Basicly im looking for the following so if anyone has any ideas on where to get them or good alternatives to the items already found, new or secondhand, please let me know..........................

Lowering spring kit
Air Filter/Intake kit
Exhaust System
Intercooler kit
Anything else thats not over the top that you guys recomend :thumbs:

P.S. im a sucker for good quality Jap products so if its nice high quality stuff you know of that would be great too :D

Hi,
Z31 specific parts are difficult to source in the UK.You may need to import from the US.
You can get an exhaust system made up at your local exhaust specialist.If you go for the KN filter, it's much cheaper to just order the filter on it's own than the Filtercharger kit that they sell!
I ordered the filter from Halfords and it only took about a week to arrive. The part no. was....
KN replacement filter RF-1011.Cost was about £50 instead of £150+ for the kit!

SO what extra comes in the full kit for the extra money???

Oh and I work for halfords so I get my staff discount too LOL :D

The filtercharger kit includes a piece of plasic pipe and a bracket and nut for the end of the filter....It's easy enough to make both yourself.
I attached my filter straight to the resonator box with the clamp included.If you want a louder induction roar, then you can remove the resonator box and use a piece of plasic or metal tube to replace it.That's all that the plastic tube in the Filtercharger kit does!

We have the patterns available to get springs made to any required specification - uprates are based on the late turbo.
Boost upgrades are fairly simple, but require an adjustable pop-off valve (which we can obtain).
I have a customer who has had a modified inlet / plenum assembly done and is currently working on phenolic spacers for plenum to lower manifold and throttle body - these will be available to buy shortly, I believe.
I have several customers who have done slightly more extreme stuff and will be happy to share data with you!

Ive now ordered the K&N filter, should be getting some springs of a local guy who has a Z31 and have had a quote for a custom turbo -back exhaust system!!

Ill keep you posted!!

Certified Muffler have started doing a Z31 intercooler kit:
CM Performace Exhaust*-*CM Performace Exhaust

No idea how good it is or how simple a fit in a GB car.. plus it would need to come all the way from the US of A...

I've never seen the HKS or Spearco z31 intercoolers for sale (2nd hand only), not common but I haven't looked very hard either, I understand they aren't cheap should you find one though ;)
