Z or Not?

Was just trawling the Classic car sites and found this advertised by one of our Brothers Down Under. When is a Datsun not a Datsun??

Is this what to much sun and standing on your head does to Z owners there?

The interior and engine look in good nick though.

There are a few of those floating around the UK. Moggy240 built and sold one a few years ago. They can be built very nicely - but I'd still prefer if they had been left as Zs.

Alternatively, I saw one at Tatton Park show a couple of years ago that was built using a Porsche 944 as the base car. It was for sale at 16k and was really very nice. Looked better proportionally than the Z-based cars IMO.
