Could go targa? If you really want some sunlight in I could sell you my roof skin thats got a sunroof already fitted. For not much work you could make it into a convertable. The possibilities are endless.

Dont you just love UPS parcel service
Ttheres nothing better than working flat out on a project then toys come along, just need to sort the exhaust and roll cage now and thats all the big jobs taken care of, oh and theres suspension then paint, think i.ll be doing the paint myself again so a good few grand saved there, talking of exhausts i know what the M3 one is like two long pipes one on each bank of 3 cylinders on seperate manifolds with a crossover pipe in the middle, ending up in one large box but what goes on in there who knows, i see the legend kit car seems to put the manifold straight into the silencer box i was going to run two pipes along side each other but space is tight under the z so may have to have just one heres some pics of the ECU and reworked bmw engine harness

Without the fuel tank in the way you could have the room for the rear section. Mine is tight in the tunnel due to my gearbox size but yours is smaller so I'd have thought there would be room for 2 pipes with no silencers. Once your past the gearbox there should be room.

Or you could just you a small single pipe because power isn't everything.

If it helps anyone else! i've always used this sort of nice plain and simple chart with straight through silencers and decent merges/mandrels for a virtually no loss system, when considering awkward installs and not getting too a**l about the science side.

Well looks like its going to have to be twin pipes all the way then makes sense i'm sure, Matt nice system there but although the tanks gone theres only about 3 inches from the wheel well to the bottem of the lower valence edge and loads of room either side which does lend itself for a couple of twin outlet boxes

Going to look at cutting a section of floor along the lower right hand side of the tunnel and letting in a piece of inverted gutter shaped section for a bit more clearance

Right bit of an update and decided to let loose with an angle grinder and 4 inch slipper disk to make room for some exhaust pipes and boxes

Also found a nice servo and master cylinder from a late mazda which is nice and deep but but a smaller diameter and is used to stop 3 tons with disks up front and drums on the rear

And the gear linkage what a result the M3 one is on two rods one ali and the other steel all i need to do is splice a bit into both about 50mm long and bolt the bottem rear of the lever mounting to the tunnel

You do realise you'll have to run your spare flat in order to squeeze its into the reshaped wheel well!
