what to do with this

What's the legality of splitters? I've thought about one many times but I can see MOT men and possibly the lads in blue taking an interest and worrying about pedestrians ankles!

That will be interesting Terry - will the undertray reduce drag and will the splitter increase it?

Is that Morgan 4 seater anything to do with you Terry - I'm getting old enough for one of those now?

Very straight power curve and the top line number is close to mine. Should be close and I can always use the "misfire" card if I lose :)

I've 4 power levels to chose from so the lower ones with no misfire may be better.

I wonder where your power graph goes at 8500? It's doesn't seem to be dropping off much.

:devil: i thought that today Matt when i had another look at the graph i was just telling John today it just keeps pulling when we was discussing changing gear at the maximum torque on the graphs

I was saying that it's best to change so that the gear you go to is at maximum torque. For me it will not be at the top of the Rev range but in the high 6k's.

Took the z to torque develoments today and had a long chat with Sam and a good look at the ecu and what it can do and what the map looked like that it is running, he has done lots of S54 s including S/C and has insisted that i use a map sensor and air intake temp sensor which he sold me today 7 fortunately my S/C ecu supports these and we are going to use lamba as well also we talked about a H pipe in the exhaust system that would improve output and quiten it down due to the pulses damping each other, on the way there i noticed the fuel pump was very noisy and the car wasnt pulling so well so i filled up with petrol and it was a little better, on the way home it got louder and if i used a bit of power it leaned right out and missing so i have a suspect pump problem is its a bosch 044 in tank pump not just sitting in your car spares shop and i want to go to the drags sunday so out with the pump and test yep its fooked, after a bit of internet trawling i found one in west london that i can collect Saturday (result) so hopefully all sorted by sat afternoon. A few pics of the new sensors and the old fuel pump

I didn't realise bosch made an 044 in tank pump. I've a spare new 044 external if you get in trouble.

Glad to see your finally going to put some sensors on the engine. Map, act and lamda are vital in my opinion. Without them you have to run the tune way too much on the safe side to allow for worst possible conditions.

Thanks john strangley enough i built in am emergency bypass tube behind the pass seat which an 044 connects straight in, think i need to get a spare and leave in the car, after my man looked at the map he did say its quite a safe map and even spotted that some ignition gets added at the top of the rev range at around 7500 and even shows it on the dyno sheet a few posts before
