I don't think anyone can get banned from the Z club Johny, just posts get edited.....:rolleyes:

I see the post has been removed but it wouldn't surprize me if it happens again. Other car forums would not tolerate this type of abuse and would have banned the member who posted it. Anyway, its gone now.

In response to a couple of responses on here that show how a lot of the membership is feeling at the moment, the abuse and insulting other members will no longer be tolerated on this website and an infraction system is being put in place imminently and will be used to stop these posts of an anti-community nature

Anyway had a nose around at the s54 today she's a complex piece of kit, must be 15 or so multi plugs and thats not including the 6 for the injectors, now what have i done with them wire cutters :eek:

What are you going to run it on? ECU wise? I **think** the only thing half way capable that's got a base map is a DTA S100Pro, also you've got to junk the DBW throttle.

I new you would be along Franky yes your right DBW will be gone, i'm talking to a guy in switzerland who builds (dont laugh) hovercrafts using the S54 motor, why do you say that the DTA S100pro is only half way capable?

Can't believe it's not back in the engine bay and running yet! Is there a problem Tell? Surely it can't be that hard to do an engine swap. After all, there's no turbo pipe work and stuff to worry about.

Sorry, fully capable but require full mapping. I just love these engines:) I'm pleased people are using them as turbos suck!:D

Franky - Turbos blow rather than suck. The exhaust gases blow the exhaust turbine which in turn blow the inlet gases. Nothing sucks in my engine bay...............apart from ovewrheating on long straights.

Which create a vacum, on the exhaust side, to draw more mixture through and suck? Superchargers blow:)

We may have to agree to disagree on this one Franky. I think a turbo, and supercharger for that matter, work on the principle of creating boost pressure. When you suck you create a vacuum. When you blow you create pressure. That's my understanding anyway. We digress so we'll just leave it that you think my car sucks and I think it blows.

Tell's nether sucks nore blows. In fact it does very little at the moment! I'll have to pay him a visit and give him some direction. I'll bring my note pad and start with a list of things to do:D
