I tightened up my rear suspension arm bolts and the rear diff cover bolts to stop it clunking and twanging when I pull away.
Then I couldn't think of anything that needed doing so I went for a drive.
    Lovely.

    Great short vid Jon.

Boring shot of mine positioned where it has been since October, untouched largely!

further to the oil pump change I've just changed my pressure sender so now the oil gauge actually reads sensible reading now too!
next on the list is to change the disks that have been warped since I've had the car and then change the horns for ones that work.

At least it's well protected from things falling from above :)

I was very happy having followed someone's advice and put my taillights in the deep-freeze !

Took them out a couple of days later and the glue holding the lens in just let go by hand, allowing me to clean all over the inside of the support and lens before glueing back together again. Simples !:coolgleam:

Piece of cake and I was dreading forcing it and risking cracking the OEM lenses !

Looks great; new shoes look better IMHO. And your neighbours drive is magnificent!

Jon, I like the way the bottom of your front spoiler is black - in red it would look huge. So you live close to Kevin Irons then.

Looks longer and sleeker somehow ... that red/black spoiler visually works as well ...

Fitted a replacement clutch slave cylinder and new stainless hydraulic pipe, while i was there remembered i had a rubber gaitor for the clutch fork/arm, bought a couple of years ago but forgot it was actually missing until now!!

Old one was working OK, but had developed a very slight weep, it was pretty cruddy under that dust cover, so was definitely due for replacement
    Clutch slave3.JPG
Plenty of WD40 on the pipe union before attempting to loosen it, hardest part of the whole job was removing the sliding/spring clip thingy holding the pipe in place on the body bracket, put it back from underneath the car so next time it will be easy to knock off, i had to prise it off with screwdrivers towards the engine, real PITA

All bolted up, not forgetting the new rubber gaitor :)

It's a great place. The wheels are what it came (to me with), but it handles much better with the 17" wheels - they might be back. :)

Sorry mate, didn't think you'd mind.

The spoiler was all red originally and did stand out - I think painting it black was one of the first things I did to it. Not sure what I would have done without the inspiration of Boy George.
