my x wifes husband has just got one. its a turbo.Will i nail it in my 32 turbo. mines not standard.my sons are asking, sounds like a play off at the pod to me. How much NOS will i get through to prove it or shall i just anilate him with pure power, dont get me wrong, its a Nissan thing....GIVE FEEDBACK PLEASE:devil:

I think the GTO would beat a Zx.
Dare I say it- I would rather a GTO on looks aswell as toys :eek:

I like the GTO/3000GT...Stock for stock there's nothing in it.(The UK 3000GT model had more hp...than the Japanese market GTO..320 v 280), The extra weight of the all wheel drive GTO against a Z32 300ZX, means there won't be much difference in a "race"!.The GTO will probably launch better, but the 300ZX should gain thereafter.
They are more difficult and expensive to tune up than the 300ZX though!

I've always liked them, although they are a bit overweight-looking. Lots of toys, but shedloads to go wrong.

Unlike a Z32TT of course :)
 
If anything, even more difficult to work on than a Z32 (and that is saying something). Surprisingly quick on the road, but somehow uninvolving and bland. Look good on the outside, fail to deliver from a driver's perspective.

I get to drive one periodically, but it spends more time in the workshop than any Z32 I know...good market in breaking them, though!
 
So that's it, the GTO has it on looks!! It's also better as a ............... breaker :D
Best ask the other half if she'll be needin any bits ;)

You could always give her a lift in the Zed to collect lol

Because of their AWD complexity, they're worth even less than a Z32 300ZX nowadays!

You shouldnt have any problems in beating the GTO, its only advantage is 4WD, so it may just get the edge of you off the line, but as they weight more than Steve Burns and Me put together, the mid range power of the Z will walk all over the Mitsi!!
