valve clearance adjustment

does any body know what the correct size spanners are for adjusting valve clearance?
im finding a 17mm and 14mm fits the adjusters but its a sloppy fit so was wondering if they are an imperial size or something?

I think they are 17 & 14 too. Maybe your spanners are sloppy? Wouldn't be imperial for sure

yeah spanners are a bit worn to be fair, i think i will invest in a new set before i round something.
just thought it would be worth an ask just incase as it did seem odd if they were imperial being on a metric motor
