Ok thanks. Lots of options.
Your build looks very shiney. Would be out of place on my car :)

Hello -
I chose the Kameari forged street pistons at 88.5mm

They're very shiny.

They came with this bit of paper that looks like it has important info on it.

Ask Albrecht if he could translate it for you It might pay to send him a pm as he might not see this

Thanks Steve, will do.

Matt, I looked at some JE ones, but they were more expensive - I got an adjustable cam sprocket as well from Kameari, and it still came to less than JE.
I went for these nice rods from the 'bay - if the engineering matches the packaging then they'll be great!

Cool
I have it on good authority that those rods are really good.

What's going to be the spec on the motor CR, cam etc?

My rough plan is that I'll just start of with my current e88 head & Kent P284 cam. That should give a compression ratio of about 10.5:1 and maybe 230bhp fwhp, assuming the pistons come out flush with the top of the block.
If that all works, then I'll take my time figuring out what to do with the P90A head and a bigger cam.

Apart from the rebore, pistons & rods? crank will be cleaned up, ground if necessary and balanced. New bearings of course. that's about it.

Not 100% sure John but, does it mean sand down the bottom of the piston skirt edge by 2/4 thou?
Just to take off the sharp edge?

Yeah, I think 'just take the sharp edges off' is how I'll interpret it!

The 'r' denotes a radii not a chamfer but essentially its a break radii, ie. take the sharp corner away with a radii between 0.20mm 0.40mm.
