Give good responsive turn in on the corners. I would normally set it to 0 in the Datsun though. With the Civic being FWD I normally run a sight toe out on that.

When I bought the family wardrobe on wheels, I was finding it impossible to keep it going straight on the motorway without constant tiny adjustments. Turned out the wheels were toeing out. Once corrected, it drove perfectly.

Obviously mine was toeing a fair bit, how do you find the civic at speed with the toe out? Is it too subtle to notice?

I thought FWD cars are supposed to have toe out on the front?

Dude, I have NO idea, but all I know is what the garage said and how differently the car drives now.

The tyres wear perfectly evenly too.

It will make them feel very twitchy if the toe is out too much, most standard setups will toe in a bit but when its doing a fast road setup it can be trial and error to find what works for you and the car.

I only have the Civic set to toe out very slightly, not a problem at speed but you do notice a difference on turn in.

In theory yes, but I think most stock setups toe in a bit.

Not sure I agree with that, toe out at the rear will make it very twitchy and want to swap ends on you. For this reason I'm most RWD's tow in slightly at the rear.
