Mike has no plans for MSA events just fitting it for extra safety up 440yds of black stuff or in the case of York grey stuff hence my comment was personally directed at him.
Identify what you want from the car and cage and go from there

Mike was at my place on Sat and we have done exactly that!!

Yep it can occur.
The trick is to fit some 2+2 bits that operate differently:bow:

Or alter the position of the door bars. They are adjustable on your cage???

I have not made any mounts for the front cage section as I might have to cut a hole in the floor as I can not get anything under it as it will be just about be hitting the roof
but the rear cage is fitted quite nicely now

thanks for the pictures, it would have been nice for to be able to box it like yours Tel but I would have to modify the cage to do that but I might have make up some box sections and cut some of the floor and fit it from underneath

Moggy, if you are not competing in motorsport (where regs have to be met) I'd just weld a bigger plate on the floor/inner sill under that foot and bolt it in nuts-up.

Compare that to nothing at all, or the Works rally cars from the 70s!

the problem is that the 2 side bolt holes do not sit flush with the floor and I wanted to do a neat job.
