Thing is, how much of a problem would that be? Practically, a car using the rubber isolator is more likely to be setup as a road/fast road car (owner not wanting to chop and weld towers, suggesting more conservative approach/aims), rather than track or uber-stanced, where camber plates would be appropriate. Ergo, less likely to have a slammed ride height. Plus, generally all these setups have the capability to go very low, so any change in length due to the isolator could be offset with limited adjustment?

It effets the operational range of the damper rod. having 2" of isolator, then dropping it to compensate, theory goes that its 2" less movement?

Ah yes that is where the Arizona Z setup is so smart because the whole unit adjusts up & down.

Just bought some RKR's and going for the tried and tested 205 55 15 tyres. Any recommendations of a make? Car will probably never see a track and probably not driven fast enough to be on the edge of traction. Was thinking t1r as a reasonably priced tyre (£65 each). Any other suggestions around this price?

I would be interested to know how much they weigh once you have the tyres fitted so I can compare against my rota grids fitted with 205 55 16 tyres .

I'll stick them on the scales when the tyres arrive.

Michelins are good tyre but cost was an issues. I had a set of sport cups on my blue car but they were a few years old so grip was appalling. They don't age well at all.

Thanks for that, I think I will start another thread for it as I am interested how much difference in weight between wheel and tyre combo's
