I am too, I changed 14"x5"1/2" with 195/70 tyres for 15"x8" 205/55...

I guess I need to lower her or change wheels again

Rolling diameter of 195/70-14 is 24.7 inch.
Rolling diameter of 205/55-15 is 23.9 inch

You have created almost another inch of gap under the arches hence the look.

To maintain the same diameter of 24.7 inch and arch gap you should have gone for
205/60-15 tyres but will still need a hit with the lowering stick to get look you want ;)

Sean, what's the suspension setup that's on both yours and your friends?

There's no getting away from it - to lower like that you needs coliovers.

To allow for full shock absorber traveil with coilovers the struts need to be cut and the threaded tubes welded where you need them. Then, shorter, stiffer springs - we went for Eibach progressive for their compromise comfort/performance and your choice of shock absorber - before I went Tokico HPs, this time Illuminas.

Thanks Sean, I had a feeling you were going to say coilovers, looks like I am going to have to start saving or work the dreaded overtime.

As chris has said, overall diameter has decreased by .8" which is nearly half inch more gap. Lowering springs can be a bit hit and miss as in my experience they don't lower the front enough. Adjustable platform struts are the only way to set the height just as you want.

You don't need to change wheels/tyres again - THAT won't improve anything - you literally need to lower the car upon it's suspension whatever wheel/tyre combination.

Mine on 8x15 ET0 225/50X15 and a friend's done the same with the same combination.

Have you got any more pics of the grey car Sean? Looks a stunning colour combo

Hardly polluting the thread Sean, it's about the stance, which I think will interest the OP. And pics of Zs, what's not to like?

The T3 setup is excellent. Steve Skiddell has them on his Time Attack car. If him and Pmac are impressed that says plenty.

Also good that you do not need to faff sending suspension legs to them for mods. You can send cores in afterwards for a store credit but you don't have to. Just place an order and receive bolt on complete setup.

They now have two top mounts - weld in camber plates, and new bolt in ones that just require some cutting for access at the centre, with no welding.

Just spoke with a guy at T3 and they tell me the only thing i'll need to do is drill the steel plate in the rubber mount to 15mm to fit the larger diameter shocks.

glad to hear they have good reviews!
