slow process, but virtually got there putting the roll cage in. First time me and my mate have put one in a car, but he tells me its the last one he is gunna do, because even though it was a ' Pre-Cut ' kit, there were still a lot of modifications that had to be done for it to even fit. I feel like now we are on the home straight.

' Rolling Death ' lives again :smash:

Seems to me like you have virtually got a 'spaceframe' S30.

Good work, is it going to have steel or frp panels?

sorry for the late reply, yes it is a custom cages FIA Approved roll cage, suppose to be all pre-cut but took an immense amount of work to get it to fit !

Yes, amazing work. If I was going to roll-over in an S30 I would feel safe in that.

I don't really understand the reason for this tubular approach but as far as I can see you are saving a project.

You are a brave and gifted man taking this on.

completed fitting a S14 rear subframe, a lot of work involved within fabricating, but the rear subframe is now incorporated within the space frame of the car giving the car a lot more strength and hopefully stop a lot of flexing. Now moving forward fitting the dash and the s14 steering column giving me options on electrical items which should be cheaper and more reliable than the old electrics.

Update on vehicle :

Started working on putting the outside of the bodywork back together, surprising what I have got to do to make it fit properly. Still looking for some steel front wings, don't mind if they are rusted as I am going to have to adapt them to fit anyway, all I ever seem to come across is people asking silly prices for poor condition wings. So if anyone has any for sale, please email me.

Hi all,

Finally finished the shell now apart from the front wings which I am waiting to come into a container from America, underneath is now all sealed up all ready for the suspension to be fitted, then off to my local body shop to have all the paint sorted.

Here are some updated photos.

Incredible amount of work just to get to this stage, hats off!

Please be sure to upload a pic of it in the open air on its way to the painters - I've forgotten what the whole car looks like ... (have only seen sots of particular areas) - what colour will it be?

A light grey/chalky off white would look the dogs .. ! Mind you, any colour would do.

Finally got my wings from America, now they job begins making everything fit also making supports for the bonnet. The original colour of the car was Green metallic and I will be putting it back to this shade of colour. While I have been waiting for the wings I have virtually built all the engine from scratch.

Been a long time since this cars been on its own wheels, and a lot of people thought that it wouldn't sit on its own wheels, gradually moving forwards and starting to get a few bits for the build and hope to pick my engine up very soon thats been built completly from scratch.
