rear brakes

As far as i know there are two types of rear brakes on the 280zx.
Are they interchangeable?
Do they have the same mounting points? does the handbrake cable fit both types of caliper?

All rear suspension components were changed on the later 280ZX set-up - even the cross-member is different. There is no "mix and match" cross-over apart from late shocks which could be used on an early car with matching springs...

i have these rear ZX brakes on my Silvia, but they are all rusted en the self adjusting mechanical doest work properly, rebuild kits seem to be nowhere and new calipers cost 125 dollars each..
I hoped the later type would be a good alternative, because i can get a set of them for not to much money.

But i guess thats a no go then.

Seal kits for early 280ZX calipers should still be available - not cheap at around £70 + VAT (does both calipers).

isnt that self adjusting part hard to rebuild? never tried it and dont want to get stuck with no brakes at all anymore
