RD28 Crankshaft - Will it fit?

I've been given an RD28 crankshaft which I'm considering trying as a stroker crank for my L28 build.

All bearings and spacings are a far as I can tell the same as the l28 crank, and the stroke is the same as an LD28. Differences are as far as I can see at each of the ends where the cam drive chain sprocket on the l28 motor would fit and at the other end for the flywheel.

This could be a complete waste of time but has anyone tried this before?

Cheers

The skyline forums are probably the best place to look for info but even they say it's a lot of hassle to make them work around an RB block. It has been well discussed but not so much with regard to the L28.

Thanks for the input. I reckon I'll strip a crank out of an old engine and see how it goes. Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Hi, any updates? lol just curious looking into it myself
I did have a look and then found an LD. From memory all the bearings and positions are the same, but it needs a bit of work on the snout and tail, so you’d need to be handy on the lathe and grinder. I’m sure it can be done and have seen one Aussie post where it was mentioned.
