Hopefully I've got this right
Flange height, spline count, seal face dia od and nut face to base seemed to measure up the same, so I've given it a go
Modded the dust shield with the help of a vice and large socket ;)
Now bolts up a treat without nipping up

Now can use the bigger R33 prop which slips straight into the box but ...

When offered up the prop is about 1" to long, which means I either move the engine forwards ...
Or shorten the prop?

std smaller 260z prop for comparison

Bit of an update
Shorten the prop it was ....

Props in and fills the gap ...

Found the main pump a new home ...

Rads arrived so got that in n sorted the main water hoses
Engine still looks a pig but should clean up when done

Half the trims back in but still need to do a few more jobs in there ...
So left it as is for now

Managed to fit uprated Tokico dampers to the o/s
.... but as its on axle stands I cant get to the n/s, so will have to wait doh

Stock R33 crossover setup which I hate with a passion ...

So out with the hacksaw :smash:

Flange, we now have a flange ....

and then out with the extra big drill ;)

Cut n shut another part of the inlet to extend the tbh away from the plenum

So now need to get this bolted on to check me angles then get it welded up

bobs yah uncle n all that :D

Have a few more pics
Should someone want to have a go at a like manifold ...
Heres how I dd mine

1st I cut the old crossover pipe up as no longer req and angled it to suit

Right dia pipe and looks right imo

I started by cutting the tbh flange off the stock RB inlet plenum

So it ended up looking like this

Then out with me bestest hole cutter the right size and... :smash:

end up with one big hole lol :D

Then once I was happy I cut n shut the old crossover pipe to suit both the manifold and newly cut inlet flange ...

Then got the sections welded up by a man that can

I added another air take off point (as prev cut off above) aswell as a new one for a boost gauge etc

Need to sort a throttle cable brkt next but its almost there now

Linkage almost sorted :)

Also found a few handy bits of ol Samco boost pipe that should do :driving:

Intercoolers away being modded again so will work on the boost hoses proper when its back

Then it rained so thats that for a day or ten lol

Coolers back n fits just right
Well pleased considering

Now I can cut and extend the hoses to suit

Only just spotted this thread, Wynn you do more in a year with cars than most do in a lifetime. You make my small amount of achievements look like slow assed progress, props to you!

Cheers Russ
Sure that isn't the case
Maybe others just don't want to share in what they've done ;)

Still atleast the suns out so time to crack on

Found out another bit of boost hose so eventually I can have the thing on boost :D

Makes a big whoosh lol

Also dug out n painted the spark plug cover to tidy things it up

Now I have the boost hoses joined I can run it proper ...ish

But as it run rough I've joined up the old air intake just to see if that helped

But its now turned into an Audi lol ... it's on 5 cylinders
Not sure if its a plug, coil or injector yet but I hope its nothing more

Still atleast I got the exhaust almost there
Std down pipe fits with a slight bend and it just happens to fit my system
Just needs a little more work and it should be there :)

shhh, dont tell the mrs but i've totally fooked the patio ;)
