They look shiny!

Is there any rubber mounting that goes with them, or are they solid?? Might be a daft question :)

Solid part (in photo) bolts up to RB block then you fix a Toyota Supra Turbo rubber engine mount to that and then it all bolts up to the original Z cross member.

The rubber mount then gives it some movement like the standard Z ones.

Yes it is shiny and before you ask Skidders they came that way i have not polished them up but i have cleaned up the gearbox :)

Trip out on monday to see Andy car in the flesh !

Brian Baker bought me a later type gearbox mount to the meeting last night i will have to have a set of mounts made and welded to the tunnel to allow the use of the skyline box you have to cut the Z one out or the box will not fit.

Should have some more bits this time next week and hopefully the RB26 engine will be sorted (deal done)

Using a old crossmember Test fitted the Toyota Supra insulator (engine rubber mount) had to drill out the hole bigger but it fits OK it also has a 6mm lug on the bottom of the mount that also required drilling.

Car now in the workshop ready to start the engine swop first job to to extend the support rails under the car and extend them all the way to the back. Then cut out the old gearbox ears and weld in the new ones with the skyline gearbox in place. All to be finished before wed 20th december so over xmas i can clean up the underside and repaint it.
