Radiator Pipe

My radiator is missing the overflow (?) pipe that connects just under the radiator cap and I'm looking for a replacement.

I can find plenty of places that sell pipe that will fit but the specs show they won't withstand the temperature. What do you use?

It's not as if the pipe will be expected to take boiling water for any length of time - if ever.

I don't think the spec is a major factor in this application.

That's a fair point.

Do you know if the original pipe was clear or black, etc?

Given the orange / brown aged colour of mine, it may have been a clearer shade than black
