Had another great event Nissan Experience with GTROC, my only comment is that greed and red do not go -

Edit.... red and Green!!!!!

Having been on that bit of green last year briefly I kept off it this year.:D
I did however have a couple of half spins and clipped the grass down at the hairpin.

All in all tho a great day!

Yes, green, have edited it, thanks.

Followed someone else through the corner but was catching them and their line was not great.... not tight enough to the cone :driving:

Quick out of corners 'them old GTRs' - bit too quick ;)

Shame they didn't let you on the race-track.

Just back from an awesome weekend up at Bruntingthorpe, for Asda Day giving passenger rides. Did a drag race against a H2 motorbike (1000cc super-charged, 208bhp - what an awesome bit of kit!!!) at lunchtime, 1st run was close, but the bike took it and second run I tired the launch control and the car didnt pull off well (lots of wheel spin) and the bike jumped out quite a lead. Will get some videos up shortly....

Also got another ride out in Hakosuka ;)

Some pics, not many

What's the score with the silver R35 with red lip spoiler and bonnet vents and other choice bits painted in red? Looks like a 80's halfords special IMHO

I quite like it.

Would love to take the zed to a bluntingthorpe day. Is it something you can just book up or is it club type events?

Specific clubs only.... but Z may be too slow for the event. We had Daves Hako there and no one wanted laps

AFAIK he is still running a stock L20 on triple carbs. So 135bhp at the very best. Can't compare it performance wise with modern machinery. But when it comes to looks, design, styling, desirability it trounces the moderns...all IMHO:D. I would have jumped in for a lap in his car had I been there.

160mph on the back straight? Whats Johns spec (sorry dont know the car)?

Hmmm, its been plastered all over the forum for the past few years, the car pulls a low 11 second 1/4 mile which is quicker than a lot of GTRs, its quicker than ANY GTR that has never run a 1/4:lol:

There are a number of cars on here Graham that may suprise you ;)

If you would like some data check out the clubs long standing record of 1/4 mile racing....the Hall Of Fame

Its a 30 year record of every official 1/4 mile ever run by a Z club member alongside a spec of the car.

We also have a few drivers on here that are no slouch on a circuit either.
