I have grown to like the rear marker lights as I think it matches the fronts. At one stage I would of welded up the fronts. It's funny how your tastes change over the years. On my first 240z I fittied mk 3 escort mirror and loved the look back in the early '90's. Probably wouldn't do it now.

Test coat on some panels. Pretty happy with the colour which was matched to the underside of one of the trunk lids.

Nice that you've matched it to a proper 918 orange and not gone metallic or something ... !

A few more weeks of polishing, sanding and re-coating apparently so it should definitely be back by the end of next month.

The colour looks fantastic dude, I bet your looking forward to getting it back so you can crack on with putting it all back together.

Once you get it all done and on the road it would be really good to get our cars together. I'm looking forward to seeing it painted, its making me more convinced that my car has to be very close to the factory colour.
