I'd be interested in the costs between buying a LHD car and then having to pay someone to convert it - and buying a RHD car in the first place!

Not sure there'd be a lot in it. Is there some comprehensive online guide anywhere as to how many man hours it's takes and parts required? Does the whole firewall need in effect to be mirrored? Or do people just weld up holes and 'move 'em over' etc ...

Hi Scott,

Great to see your 240z at today,s Cheltenham Retro Show, please get some pictures up on this forum. I have some pics i took but every time i try to upload anything to this site i fail.

Three Datsuns at one small classic car show is quite unusual. As i said to you, its well worth becoming a full Member for £15 and accessing the info you need for a r/h conversion, lots of experts on here.

to be fair theres a lot of blanking plugs allready situated on the opposite side to the current driving position so surely its a case of just swapping stuff over?
even if minor mods need to be made you could blank off bits of the firewall if holes were exposed with grommits and/or bonded paneling.
true say about the cost of parts, as you cant exactly order NLA parts off the shelf unless you have a lot of cash to go private.

and welcome to the club escortsn:thumbs:
