Hi Just got my new MSA 6into 2 into1 manifold ffitted as well as a stainless custom exhaust in 2.25" with 2 x small boxes one in the middle and another at the rear. This was done by a very helpfull chap at longlife exhausts took him about 5 hours and made nice smooth bends in exhaust to help with flow etc.
Pretty happy with nice deep tone, loud but not rediculously so. Sounds a bit like a WRX at low revs is this due to the 6-2-1 config?
Has anyone experiance with this manifold. It fitted on really easilly that was one of the reasons for purchase.
Just wanted to get some opinions on the carb set up for this.
Car is standard with 240z carbs fitted with K& N filters with stub stacks inside.
I did give the carbs a 1/4 turn to richen up the mixture just in case but car seems to run fine with no pinging even at 6000 up a steep hill. Spark plugs are dairy milk brown.
Do I need to change needle or should I be ok as is, just want engine to be safe, to squeeze last HP is not so important.
