Mold/plug is finished and the first prototype is nearly done ,
Just a logo to add between the last layer of hot coat and a good polish . looks pretty clear from the test piece we have done and the air box should be clearer than that because its been worked less .
Should be off the mold by end of play today hopefully , my friend is doing it as he is glassing the boards

Well here it is 
It has only had a quick once over with some cutting compound and a quick polish, but has come out pretty clear , you can quite clearly see the Titanium trumpets through it , which is what I was aiming for
My friend has ordered a different epoxy today that he thinks will be clearer again which will be great , plan is to use this one to make some tweaks to the base plate for the mounting and make the ally inlet flange for the pipe to connect to

Spent a few hours this morning in the garage getting it all fitted up , I know it needs a few tweaks on the base plate now, a double lip to seal the lid better and mounting holes tapping (to lose the cable ties), but for now i can do some test driving this weekend and see how it performs, ,
My friend that helped me make the clear box has now gone to France for a month in his camper to surf, the benefits of being self employed, so I can sort out the base plate ready for his return and then we can make a clearer box with a new moulding technique that another surfboard making friend has told me about,
