No, just the detail parts.

I remain happy and reassured that those are available also - only encourages people to buy and restore.

The first question buyers ask is "are the parts available ," after hearing for years that parts for Japanese cars are hard to source !

There are somegreat quality detail parts now available because of demand - it's a good snowball effect.

Totally agreed with your last statement and indeed others being built throughout Europe - the quality is on the up and all good for the marque !

If you are talking about the stuff that Romus is producing then I think Id much rather stick my 80k (that I don't have sadly) into something like that...

That wasn't £80k but also didn't have a prepared engine, just a revised, very slightly improved 280Z Efi.

Now living in Hamburg, bought by a not so young chap but the other 280'ZG' (here in photo WAS bought by a young chap living in France.

I bet 50p that people will actually start to think that a '280 zg' is an actual model:rolleyes:

You'd have to be bonkers to spend half that on a bodykitted 280, surely?

As said before I did ask the guy on the MZR stand about the mirrors and he said they don't sell the individual parts off the cars they produce. And have no plans to. These are bespoke parts. He did say they themselves manufacture the small arm that attached the mirror to the door frame. The actual mirror you 'can' obtain from elsewhere. But he didn't say where and why should he, really. It does nothing for the exclusivity of their cars if other cars are rolling round with the same parts on them! And he'd be right.

I replied with thanks after his answer and he said that I had at least replied with courtesy, unlike a visitor to the stand at the show on Friday who gave him a volley of abuse when he refused to sell him a pair for his own car.

So, short answer. You 'could' obtain these mirrors but from where I don't know - and you will have to find a way to attach them to the car yourself.
