Will be going on Saturday.

Noticed that there are a couple of Zeds in the auction. The first is a green 74 260Z LHD @ an estimate of £15-18k. Looks tidy enough but noticed from the pics that it has a half dash cap and the join is very noticable. The other things were that it has the stock mild steel exhaust and where the US bumpers have been swapped to Euros, they haven't removed the rear bumper shocks. Sorry if it is a Club Member's car but just my observations.

The other is a 72 240Z Super Samuri at an estimated £45-50k.

Thanks for the offer but going with a mate of mine and he has already bought the tickets online. Perhaps someone else may take you up on that.

Cheers

Got the weekend pass for Sat/Sun.

Just passed my MOD1 test, one more to go...:) so will be visiting Bike show as well. Still on the fence about a retro classic like the Kaw W800 or a proper classic Bonneville. Don't fancy carrying a oil pan with me, but hopefully show will help me get off the fence.

I’m giving the classic car show a miss as been for the last couple of years and most of the exhibits and stalls are the same. But off to the Bike show week after, just need to remember the leave the bank cards at home way too much temptation

Going tomorrow ... sadly the thing is just too big now to see adequately in one day which is all I have. I like a chat with owners on stands about their cars so it just means I see less and less each time. I could spend hours looking round the parts stands alone ...

I'm tempted to just to see the MZR cars and get some ideas for my builds.

Same here on both counts, sadly I'm working this year so can't go at all, but a couple of years ago because we were there for two day, me and a mate spent one day in the autojumble/parts bit and the next day in looking at the cars.

Last year because I was exhibiting I got loads of time to look at everything. Probably the best experience of the show I've ever had apart from going with my Dad in the 80's & 90'S

Hope someone gets some decent photos of Rahails stand.

Cheers,

JK

If anyone going could take some photos of the MZR cars and share them here that be really cool. I've seen various pictures through Instagram and the cars have a really nice restomod vibe about them.

I'd be really curious to see some close ups of the door mirrors they've fitted to the window frames, they look like just what I'm after. Will have to make some inquiries with MZR myself.

Shame I'm away for the weekend and will miss this one again.

Will see the MZR stand for sure - it's on the list - and will try and have a chat and find out more ...

Everytime I go to the Mustang Owners Club stand they seem to have more or less the same cars on ... and even I am sick of that bladdy Bullitt car chase (we had it on a loop the year I did it)!

Nice - VIN?

Makes my blue car look cheap!

I do like the colour, battery in rear I suppose.

It wont look the same with wiring etc.

I've always loved the clean look. It looks even better before you add all the rest of the required bits. What other cars do they have on display? Still considering going but there needs to be more than just one car.
