ls2 in a 280

i am about to buy a 1978 280 and i was wondering if an ls2 would fit inside. why not have 400 hp off the bat.

Yes it will IF the 280 in question is an S30 rather than a ZX type.

There are plenty of people who have already done the swap using a kit from www.brokenkitty.com also known as John's Cars or JCI.

The actual transplant is a piece of cake, getting the car to handle, stop and behave itself properly takes a bit more thinking about.

My own car is having an 06 GTO motor and T56 installed.
