Lowering spring question

Afternoon all,

I've dropped the 240 off at my friend's garage to have a set of lowering springs fitted whilst I'm away on holiday next week, can the rear springs be replaced without removing all the suspension? I.e. Somehow just undo the strut and ' wiggle' it through the wheel arch?

Any advice would be appreciated  thanks Darren

Red7, from memory you may have to disconnect hydraulic hoses and driveshats. It''s one of those situations you won't know until you try it.

I've changed springs a few times and it''s a maul.
