LM-1 exhaust Boss fitment

Mr G I'm getting somewhere now, After days of trouble with the exhaust I now have a 2 1/2 straight through to a single back box. Now when I record the mixture I get a WOT of 12.4:1 pretty much perfect, Ive not changed the jets so I guess the new manifold and exhaust has made the engine breathe easier, before I was getting WOT of 10:1:eek: way too rich.
Idle is around 14:1, the only problem I have is just abouve 1500 rpm it goes 10:1 before leaning out a little to 12:1. Maybe the
emulsion tubes are the problem or it could be the air correctors, I will try a few combinations and compare the results.
As it is its very nice to drive and screams to 7k
36 mm chokes
145 mains
195 air corrector
f11 emulsions
f9 55 idle jets

check out this link, great read if you have webers and want to tune using a lambda probe

That's great news, especially after all the headache previously.

I can see you getting to the bottom of that pretty soon. Bloody great that you can be so precise as to know where exactly it needs tweeking. :D

Changed the main jets today to 135's, its made the 10:1 area change to 11:1 ish so its in the right direction, WOT is now 13:1, don't really want to go any leaner than that.
I doubt I will get it 100% as engines do strange things at certian rpm's, my brothers old Race 205 went really rich at 4k rpm and then was fine up to 8k. Luckily he had TB so could map a perfect mixture.
I was going to go the TB route but I'm leaning towards a 3.1 Turbo at the moment :)
Going to play with the air correctors tomorrow, will let you know how I get on
