Toyota - yep, like McLaren.

I watched the GT battle on TV - very close.

We got back on Monday and I have a very long update planned for my project thread when I get a spare few minutes (more like hours lol).

We had a fantastic time as always with various adventures, the weather was as hot as I've seen it for the 24 Hours almost verging towards LMC weather so the car was pretty toasty to say the least!

We managed to hook up with David at the Classic British Welcome and chat to him about his 240Z track car which was a really cool bit of kit, his English was also fantastic. Pics of the car below, there was also a Brown modified 240Z there albeit I didn't catch up with Tony who drove it down there. Including ours those were the only S30's I knew of there really. The car got a ridiculous amount of attention again where ever it went and was parked, got quite amusing watching people stopping to gawp :D

Fantastic racing to watch all weekend albeit a bad day in the office for me given I'm a Toyota and Corvette fan however the GTE Pro race was incredible to watch. That's two unforgettable 24 Hr Le Mans in a row!

We're already planning the Le Mans Classic next year in the 240Z and Healey but won't be making the 24 Hrs, unfortunately don't have the time for both :(

Orange Z seen at Les Herbiers (85) last Saturday - anyone here ?

We didn't get that far South so can't help.

Back from a very hot but fun Le Mans.

I spotted an orange 240 between Arnage and Porsche roundabout on Sunday but that was the only Z I saw all weekend.

You have to feel for Toyota....

It's highly likely that was us as we were at Arnage in the morning at went back to White parking to make it to our Grandstand for the end of the race :) (see pic of the car below)

I'll keep an eye out for a post on here and have your email already however I'll definitely be interested in club parking inside the circuit with the club if your organizing :D

You don't need to 'camp' with us to be allotted a free club-stand parking place and with reduced-price tickets.

I'm going next year, think I'm going with Red 7 and his little gang,he informed me he might be going in his hairdressers car to which I replied its a classic occasion and the Z 4 Hairdressers car won't attract much attention if any

I feel for toyota, have you read the full debrief of what happened?

As for Aston Martin, the only reason they can run is the bonkers, balance of power/performance rules. How else would such an old design be able to win a race. Makes a bit of a mockery.

Its upsetting to hear they're going to mess with the sportscars from 2020 onwards.

I've not seen the full debrief myself however BOP is an interesting subject.

It got bounced around all weekend as it always does and was originally slagged off and then was commended at the end. Part of me goes they have no rights to mess in what is going on and just let them make the cars as fast as they can and go race.

The other side of me saw the results of it being done correctly with five different manufacturers in the top five positions and the race going down to the last lap. For the fans it was a massive spectacle to behold. Would it have been the same to view if one car had just run off into the sunset at the start and just demolished the rush of the field?

I find its a very difficult thing to either praise or condone myself....

The yellow Z also of Jean-Louis.

Completely missed that one! Judging by the pics it must have really been hiding away in one of the corners in the greenery. Nice pics who ever took them, our car looks fantastic in that light :D

Shame about the fit of our passenger door though :(
