Never mind dressing up, who is going to volunteer to stay sober and pick me up from Le Mans Station 11pm Friday night ?
Whilst not expecting a lift in a DB5, I really don't care if my chauffeur comes as Bond himself or a monkey, Oddjob, Goldfinger, Moneypenny......whomever.

Unbelievably of all the days to co-incide with, on the very day that I had the track parade booked at LMC, my youngest son now has his graduation day ceremony !
Couldn't make it up

So I will have to miss out on the cameraderie of the drive over and get the Z over to LMC tout seul in advance, completely miss the Friday and fly back later via Paris, then TGV to Le Mans.

There is still the option of a car being brought over beforehand and I could trailer it up but you need to contact our buddy 'J' and smartish !!!

Not sure which car will bring over or when yet, L28ET engined 240Z was in pole position but catalogue of unreliabilty so far this year. First an engine bay fuel leak nearly wiped it out, then the sensor between dizzy and MSD box failed, then head gasket went and finally put it all back together and another engine fuel leak. This ethanol in fuel has a lot to answer for ffs, leaks due to perished rubber O seals on the braided fuel line connectors. Just about to replace them all with ethanol proofed lines.

We inform you that the Newsletter including the location of each clubs as well as the timing on track (track laps sessions and races) will be sent to your attention next week. Please forward it to all your members!

We kindly remind you that only eligible cars will have access to your area or the Collectors Enclosure inside the circuit.

Access will be refused to any non-eligible cars even if they have the right sticker on the widescreen.

As written in our conditions you agreed with, you are not allowed to come with your own marquee inside the circuit.



Please note that all the tickets are under printing process. With more than 15000 tickets (200 clubs) to print, we will send your order between 8th and 15th June.

I shall receive the tickets therefore duting the week commecning 18th June and you should have yours by the end of the month.

Note that from the 1st July, on a two-way roads (ie not dual-carriageways), the national speed limit (same sign as you - white circle with black diagonal cross) is being reduced from 90km/h to 80 km/h (50mph) !

I’ll be getting me makeup off Chris as I might be going as moneypenny as I have lovely long blond hair and nice legs but don’t seem to be able to find a dress that’s fits over me arse so I won’t be able to pick you up
