L24 engine rebuild

Hi everyone, I'm in the middle of a L24 engine rebuild and find myself a little confused (which is usually the normal state to be honest) The confusion stems from the Oil Gallery plug.
When I stripped the engine down I cannot remember seeing it, nor did I remove it.

The workshop manual I have makes no mention of this plug / hole, which is situated behind the cam chain tensioner. Is it supposed to be plugged or not? is the main question? Since I didn't remove it, or notice it before it was sent to be cleaned, I would really love to know if I should fit a plug or leave it open.

Hopefully someone out there has better knowledge regarding this topic.

as per @MaximG pic, your oil gallery is (or looks?) plugged.
are you asking about the oil jet under the chain tensioner? you don't want to plug that!

No, its definitely the one you have highlighted in your photo. Just don't want to screw up the rebuild with a silly mistake. What makes it worse is, the workshop manual I have, doesn't mention this plug at all. So a big thank you for clarifying it should be plugged.
I was leaning towards that conclusion as the interior oilways have to be created and the only way to link some of them would be to have a hole from the outside of the block, which would then have to be sealed once that operation had been accomplished.
But always best to get that confirmation. Thanks again.

I'll be sure to post an update photo as I proceed. Trying to remember to record the progress with photographs as I go.
