I just didn't understand yuk!

You can see its not aftermarket, or seen. I might have a think about it though, just not sure if I see the point of adding filler for something you can't see?

Yes. Might make a call and see how much work it would be.

Anything I should look for/ask. Its the first time I've had an inside-out top to bottom paint job.

As the rear lower panel spotweld seams have been filled, it suggests that the panel has been replaced sometime in the distant past.

I should imagine the spotwelds showing adjacent and inboard of the rear bumper mount captives are from when the panel was replaced.
