Cut one of the patches out only to find Henry the hover watching me :lol:

Made a new section to replace old patch,ready to butt weld in can't believe how thin these inner wings are could be a few more hole soon :unsure:

Awesome work, this looks like a great project! I wish I had the welding skills like that.

Its just a shame photobucket seem to have derailed it by spoiling a lot of the content.

Thanks Woody for you comments the welding has turned out pretty good but to be honest,I hate putting pictures up of my welding as they do look good in the flesh but when you take a picture of them they look ***** :eek: As for the previous pictures of this restoration that were hosted by photo bucket i will be trying to replace them over time:rofl::(:(

I have a lot of respect for anyone willing to take on the challenge, to me the photos look pretty decent. It'll all be hidden by paint eventually anyway.

Good luck, I'm sure it will be a super time consuming process! I've moved my photos on to Flickr which seems to be doing the job at the moment.

I look forward to seeing more developments :thumbs:

Small update, decided to try and take the front chassis rail off really solid due to all the welded patches but its got to go need to try and salvage suspension bracket :(
