Rose loved it so its as much garage time as i want :D

Derrick, your skills are extra ordinary... Also, a wise move to keep the misses happy, she will never quite know if you are tinkering on the car again or making her something... Skill level: EXPERT.:thumbs:

Cheers John Did you use the whole of the arch as I've noticed the original inner arch flange is sandwiched between the very inner part of the arch and the inside skin of shell also where the strut tower is you cannot get to the spot welds to drill them out.
mine has only got rust around the edge
Any advice would be welcome

I've got a full NOS rear inner wing, it goes complete with the 'x' pressing to the roofline...

Removed the arch repair panel put on by previous owner so i can repair inner arch as rusted around the outer lip

Surprised how good the inner arch was for a Uk car still very solid with original paint, only rusting in small areas :)

Took some measurements and marked them on rear quarter for reference for fitting new inner a

Cut ends of existing arch out.

Now thats all that rust gone :)
Still leaving enough of the arch to weld the new panel too, also leaving the strengthening bracket from the strut tower in place that will also be welded to new panel.
Just need to fit the new arch panel :smash
