My mechanic is called Alex who owns Vital Vehicle Care off Oundle road, top bloke really trustworthy,honest,does all the work efficiently, on time and keeps the Z inside when weather is bad and only himself works on it. Best bit is he knows Z's as his Dad has one Mark from Eye.I didn't meet Paul aka status but a big thanks to him for helping a fellow Z owner out in my hour of need.:

You missed me fastback,I was even topless as I drove through Peterborough as I thought no one would recognise me if I done that,pain in the butt getting out as the sliproad back on the A1 was shut,I'm only an hour away so maybe all 3 of us could have a mini Zed meet one day,still yet to take my Zed out for a decent run after doing head gasket,quick shift and S14 a conversion and rear brake cylinders last week probably going down to Mersea island this weekend to the caravan

Hopefully got sorted Paul (status) was in the area with a 260z recon alternator and offered to deliver it to my mechanic in Peterboro thanks to everyone who tried to help.

Status, as much as you kick against it (for whatever reason) you are in this Club but you want people to think you aren't and you don't want to contribute financially. I don't understand your stance - all I know is that you are a decent chap, you are known as 'Status' on here (your Club name) and you interface with other Club members because of this website. Just being a car enthusiast is not going to get you and Kev together.
