i drove up a new road last week and got tar spots all over my car.
trying to get it off was proving a nightmare untill my mum said try rubbing margerine on it
so i thought might as well give it a go and unbelieavbly it worked!
it kind of softens tar spots enough to be wiped off.
has to be the weirdest thing ive done to a car.

i googled it too and it seems legit

Brilliant! That's on my to do list now!

I've often found autoglym polish just melts the tar spots like it's acid (which it isn't of course) maybe they use margarine in it? Or Autoglym super resin polish in margarine!?
