Full Lock Set Needed for 240z/260z.

Need a full lock set with keys for a 260z:

Ignition barrel (although I can get a new one of these).

Glove box lock with key.

Fuel flap lock with key.

Rear hatch lock with key.

I could do with new door locks with keys but I do have a brand new set of 240z locks with keys which have a different tail on them. The tails on my original ones were much longer.

You're most welcome but unless you find someone breaking a car, I doubt you will have much luck. 3 weeks is not a lot of time in the Z world ;)

I normally get things from the US delivered within a week or so.

I am pretty sure it would but the guy that painted my car (the guy that lost the keys) already took it to a lock specialist and supposedly said that he could not do it.....

"Not sure why..." agreed! They aren't trying hard enough.

It this article says 10-15 mins to break into a lock, then I would imagine a decent locksmith can easily do it inside an hour ...

Call around yourself and undoubtedly you will find someone willing to have a go.

But why don't you just get them to pay for the US package and express delivery? It's their fault that had been admitted to so the should be bending over backwards to resolve the problem!

You can but the ignition barrels for not too much money, it's all three door locks that they need to sort out really.

I think I will go with that.

All being said Rob Gaskin has first dibs on these, but if he does not want them, does anyone want a new set of 240z nissan door locks?

How much? I bought some 'aftermarket ones which seem to work fine (actually I've only fitted one so far) but they have a horrible modern key.
