I went along to Donington yesterday to see Dean racing his lovely 240Z. Weather was poor but for Dean's race it was dry. Will Arif who shares the driving (and has driven Big Sam) qualified the car well up in about 6th and made a good start. On Lap 2 he had moved up to 3rd but then unfortunately something happened at the rear of the car and caused a spin at the high-speed Schwantz Curve. Unable to fix it, the car was retired from the 40min two-man race so poor Dean didn't get to drive it. The big Corvette won. The car has good potential in the Swinging Sixties Championship but needs a little more time to 'iron out' the inevitable 'teething problems'.
