Cold air induction/airbox

My only question with regards to cold air induction is that if the intake is at the front of the car the preasure inside the box will be different at different road speeds and with carbs will this not be difficult to set up correctly?

The actual pressure acting on the induction tube mouth is almost zero due to the large conical filter that most of us use, its certainly no more than the 50 inch fan used on rolling roads

.Also good idea to run with a small ram stack inside the filter housing.

I use adjustable length trumpets inside the airbox, there's a picture of them on "Walkers Workshop" http://www.emeraldm3d.com/articles/july2011/

Aint no way I am gonna put a great big max power filter on my car.
Which rules that kind of setup for my car.:(.

Actually, technically speaking (and Skiddell will concur) that would constitute a MinPower set up

Ah, just re-read the post. I thought you were referring to the pancake filters.

BTW my stock S2000 had a conical filter so not really just the preserve of MaxPowa boyz
