Im sure the 240 would be up to it, I dont think I'll do it either, ive done track days in my other cars which were gtr's, evo's etc but I dont think ide enjoy myself in the 260, especially around mondello as its very twisty and hard on the brakes, a few laps and the 260 brakes would be dead ide imagine.
Well just home from Mondello now, apart from a headache early on in the day I had a great time, Nice meeting you again Joe, and nice meeting Andrew and Trish for the first time.
We also got a few nice slow laps on the track..........I forgot my camera so have no pics, but I think Joe has a few.
really lovely car jay, and nice to meet you too, sorry i didnt have more time to chat but will catch up in ballymena, i have made arrangements to travel up with paul on the sat morning, always good to meet andrew and joe, i wish i had their problems like which Z will i drive today?
i also forgot my camera, ohh and my son really liked your car and trust me not too many cars impress him.
Just home. Really bad thunder and lightening north of Drogheda and again closer to home. Had a really great time meeting all of you guys, mostly new some old faces. Glad a couple more of you might make it up to Ballymena. Some pics in a mo.
Great day out, although i thought i wasnt going anywhere with me carb problems which were all sorted by Andrew( mr carbs) Ta. Something differrent than the norm what with the racing and our slower track parade......great to see early zee numbers in ireland are actually increasing...biggest turn-out to date i think...good to meet the all the old and new faces.
