Boot Struts

Hi guys, one (or maybe both) of the boot support struts are weak and wont hold up the boot. Any idea where I could source a new one or any idea of spurious part number for one that I could order from my local motor factor.

BTW I have a 1980 280ZX

I had mine remade using the original end can't remember the name of the company Give Mr F a ring at MJP he will be able to tell you

I got a set off of ebay from a company in the states. It was cheaper including the shipping that having them re-gassed.

I got new ones from SGS ages ago, they could not re-gas mine. The new ones the sent fitted great, but they are a bit too stiff. Kind of used to them now though.

Don't know if you have solved your problem. Mike F (see earlier thread) did do me a tool many years ago which is a bracket that slides over one of the struts to keep it up.
