Hi all,
My 240Z has got CV half shafts and I’m removing them from the car at the moment. I’ve managed to get one side out of the diff fine by using two large screwdrivers and levering it out , see picture:
However I’ve started on the other side and got some movement, but it looks like the bearings are coming out with the driveshaft, see picture:
I’ve stopped at this point because I don’t want to damage anything further. Should I continue pulling it out like this and if so, how easy is it to put the bearings (if that’s what they are) back in the diff?
